I write to express my sympathy to Bro. Anthony's Cistercian family and to all the Jones family. Anthony loved to cook and care and he welcomed so many people to Bolton Abbey over the years. Now that his work is done may he rest in the Peace of Heaven, united with those he loved so much. Keeping him and you all in my prayers.

Always welcoming, always with a smile, always ready to listen. Right back to 1969 when I worked in the garden in Bolton during my school holidays, Anthony was part and parcel of the community - providing friendship, food for body and soul, and laughter.
