Brendan DEVITT

On behalf of everyone at Nuprint we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the family, friends and work colleagues of the late Brendan Devitt. Everyone he worked with at Nuprint found him to be a pleasure to deal with in every way. We are all shocked to hear of his sad and untimely passing.

Brendan was truly one of the nicest men I ever met. He's part of my large extended family in Ireland. He came to visit back in 2008 around our Thanksgiving holiday which he was happy to hear involved a lot of food. The day of the holiday he hovered in the kitchen asking what everything was. Im sure he had 2nd and 3rds. The following day he hovered again asking if there were any leftovers. Each time I visited Ireland I made sure to visit Brendan and Julie. Always welcomed me warmly. So heartbroken to hear he passed so suddenly. He will be missed. Glad I was privileged to know him.

Brendan was a person who made this world a better place by his many selfless acts of doing good, all done without any desire or need for public recognition. We are blessed to have known him and to have been in his happy acquaintance. He was taken from us too young, but his legacy will live on through his wife Julie and his children Melissa, Kevin and Brendan. And his beautiful granddaughters, Lola and Thea, whom he adored. His skilful photography recorded the most beautiful landscapes in Ireland and beyond. It also captured the lives of his family as they grew up around him. Brendan lived a very meaningful and fulfilled life, and we will remember him not just for all the facets of his many talents, but for how his life made a difference to all he encountered - strangers, friends and family. All were touched by his gentle kindness and humanity. We will always remember Brendan and may we soldier on and embrace this life in the spirit of Brendan. May we also see a need, offer hope, lend a hand, and make this world a better place.
