Fintan … I was so very sorry to hear of your Dads passing … an absolute gentleman… Brian interviewd me many years ago to join ESB for a project in Sudan … he visited the team in Sudan during that assignment and was so helpful and generous with his time … sincere condolences to you and your family and this very sad time for you all
Dear Matt & family, our sincerest condolences on the passing of your wonderful dad, Brian. I remember him well on the sidelines, driving us to matches, being a calm head when all around him where losing theirs…With a few words he could bring calm to a situation which he had to do on many occasions. He was brilliant. We were very fortunate to have guys like him around when we were growing up. Rest in peace Brian.

He was an ever present sideline supporter / official in my St Sylv’s playing days in the 70’s and 80’s. And was at the St Sylvester’s Club Mass each Christmas when I was home.

So sorry to hear of Brian's passing, Pauline. While I have not been in touch with Brian in recent years I vividly remember with admiration and affection the many years we worked and soldiered together in the ESB. He was a wonderful colleague, a man of faith. courage and absolute integrity and an example to all of us on how to live a good life. He ranks as one of the very best people I have met over a long life.
