We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Bryan death, he was such a lovely uncle to us all and always welcomed us on our visits to Clonmel over the years.
…Isn’t it strange that those we need and those we love the best, are just the one’s the God needs too, and takes them home to rest….may Bryan rest in peace.
Thinking about you all at this very difficult time.

The Board of Directors of Camphill Communities of Ireland and the Executive wish to extend sincere condolences to Margaret and her family on the passing of Bryan. While not personally known to most members of the present board and executive, Bryan’s contribution to the work of Camphill is well known and greatly appreciated.
His involvement with Camphill began with the development at Grangemockler in Co. Tipperary, in the late 1980s. Bryan’s daughter Mairead became a community member of Grangemockler in its early years where she flourished, becoming a much loved and appreciated contributor.
Bryan was a committed and a very active member of the Grangemockler Local Committee where his success and wide experience in the legal world and his devotion to detail played a significant role in the successful unfolding of the community. He worked with others to establish the unique character of Grangemockler. His friendship with and support for the Long-term co-workers and their endeavours is well acknowledged.
Bryan become a director and a member of the Council of CCoI and served from Jan. 1990 to Nov. 2002. Here again, his professional skills and business connections came to the fore. His careful considerations and sharp wit served the Council well on many occasions.
His understanding and love for the mission of Camphill ran deep and was a life’s devotion. Bryan’s passing is a great loss to his immediate family and to the wider Irish Camphill family.
May he rest in peace.

“It’s a long way to Tipperary” from Los Angeles, California, where I write these words. Lori and I send our condolences to Margaret, Deirdre, Sorcha, Mairéad, Gráinne, Bryan and family. We are so sorry to hear of Bryan’s death. I (Pat) had the privilege of meeting Bryan twice, first at Deirdre and Patrick’s wedding, and then on a visit to his home some years ago. I found out that he and Margaret loved See’s candies from California, and over the years I tried not to forget to bring them a pound or two. They were so grateful for such a simple gift. I marveled at Bryan’s ‘father of the Bride’ speech, and his generosity in taking me to a wonderful restaurant when I visited his home. That was such a memorable and enjoyable evening. I know that he is in heaven looking after Margaret and all the Maguire clan. Rest in peace, Bryan, you were His faithful servant to all who had the privilege to meet you.

To, Sorcha, Deirdre, your beloved mother Margaret and all the family. I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Maguire. Many years ago I had the great privilege of working in the office with Mr. Maguire. He was one of life's gentlemen, considerate, kind, courteous and witty at all times. He enjoyed conversations and always had interesting things to say when it came to work, music, drama, literature and travel.
One particular memory will remain with me forever and for which I am forever grateful. Early in 1999, Mr. Maguire had a surprise for all his staff, he had booked us all into the "Berkley Court Hotel" in Dublin. This was not the only surprise for all of us, we were also going to see "Les Miserables" at the Point Theatre. Colm (CT) Wilkinson the great Irish Tenor was performing the role of "Jean Valjean". Mr. Maguire had organised the best seats in the theatre for us, Row 8. The musical was spectactular. The following morning I was up bright and early for breakfast. Mr. Maguire and his lovely wife Margaret were up and aleady seated at a table in the breakfast room. I joined them and we talked non-stop about our truly wonderful and memorable night and how our breathing was almost stopped to hear Colm Wilkinson's rendition of "Bring Him Home".
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. May he Rest In Peace.

To all the Maguire family we are so sorry for your loss. I remember visiting your home throughout the years and the warmth and fun that came from the top down was palpable. Dee I have fabulous memories of dancing with your parents on your wedding day. Your Dad’s speech was so funny and he radiated love for you and all his beautiful family. To all the Maguire family, I have only heard of Mr. Maguire's passing and I would like to say that when I worked in his office in the mid-1970's Mr. Maguire was so helpful to me as Secretary of a local Residents' Association, for which we were truly very grateful. He got us over the line with a Planning matter and when we could not afford the full fees, he mitigated his fees for us, which was something we never forgot him for. My sincere condolences to you all, and indeed to all his loyal staff, in this very difficult time for you all.
