I am so sorry to hear of Tonner's death and quite surprised too. It's only a year since I enjoyed talking to him and Shaun at the Forget me Nots rehearsals.
I remember Tonner most fondly from our days in Aer Lingus. Even though I never flew with him, I knew him as a kind and principled man and I particularly appreciated his support when I was a junior pilot.
May he be at rest and may you be consoled with many happy memories of the special man that he was.

For the Coghlan parties back in the day I was tasked with Barman duties and Tanner was always so interested about how School/College/Sport/Life was going and he had a genuine interest. Deepest sympathy to all of Tanner's family. I flew often with him back in the 70's. He spoke often of his beautiful girls,and was such a pleasure to fly with and was always up for trips to the village, or the inevitable room party.
