Both he and my late mother Una were very fond of Carmen and spoke of her often. I remember meeting Carmen both in our family home in Drumcondra and elsewhere. Gara, memories of your beautiful Mama putting up with throngs of us traipsing through Nth Ave, she was so loving with besos for all, whipping up the worlds best Spanish omelette, chatting away with her beautiful accent, we all loved spending time with her.
