I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of beautiful Catherine. I always enjoyed her company and chats as we walked through the Dublin/Wicklow hills with Trekkers and I it is a very sad time for her beloved family. May I extend my deepest sympathy to Dara and to all her family members as you mourn Catherine's untimely loss. May you know strength, courage, comfort and peace in these days.

Dara, so sorry I wasn't able to go to Catherine s funeral . Catherine was a great asset to the trekkers .Leading , giving lifts and initiating the litter pick. She will be sorely missed. I hope walking the hills with the trekkers will help you with the pain of your great loss.

I miss you Catherine.

We sat and watched the celebration of Catherine's life this morning from our home in London. It was a beautiful and moving event. Dara, Elsa, Niall and Richard - you captured the essence of who she was and what a huge impact she made on each of you as a beloved partner, mother and sister. She was a very special woman who will be much missed by everyone who had the great fortune to know and adore her.

To Dara and all of Catherine's family, former colleagues and friends - I am so sorry for your sad loss. I had the pleasure of getting to know Catherine in the High Court extradition list. She exuded calmness and was endlessly kind and encouraging to young practitioners like myself starting out. I was always so impressed by the way she managed to keep up links with her colleagues in the UK with a view to seeing if there was any way to help any of her clients who were facing extradition there. Undoubtedly she touched many lives in a positive way and I hope that the happy memories ye have of her will bring comfort to ye in the difficult days ahead

I was so sad to hear of Catherine untimely passing. I knew her from yoga. She was always kind, interested and caring. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I only met Catherine once, on a walk to the Devil’s Glen in 2018. I think it was her first walk with the Trekkers. We were both solicitors, but mostly, it was her unassuming, kindly, and engaging manner that drew me to her. She had a quiet joy about her, a gentle strength and depth, a woman who knew who she was. She told me she had just retired and we talked about her future plans and dreams. I remember coming away thinking that I would really love to get to know her more . . .

She was a beautiful person, and Dara, Niall and Elsa, I hope you can draw some comfort knowing that Catherine’s life has touched so many others. She will live on in your hearts and ours.

We were so sad to hear of Catherine's illness and her passing. We will miss her across the garden wall. Every time Rose and Anna made a lot of noise in the garden, Catherine told us not to worry and that they reminded her of happy times with Elsa and Niall. She told me the years pass too quickly. I was grateful for her patience with us and her reminder to appreciate the squeals and laughter of my two little ones. R.I.P Catherine and love to Elsa, Niall and Dara.
