Lord Rest you Kathleen, I hadn’t seen you in such a long time but will always remember your smile and the good chats we would have over the years growing up in Marino and in Kavanaghs with your friends Mary & Dymphna. You will be missed.

So sad to hear of Catherine’s death. I knew Catherine for many years first as a best friend to our next-door neighbour in Marino, Mary. Later I had the pleasure of working with her in Walls. Catherine was a beautiful kind person and will be so badly missed.

The news of Catherine’s passing is heartbreaking, my deepest sympathies to her beloved family. From the time we were born, she has been there for us, with funny stories of babysitting us as kids, and an infectious smile and laugh to get us through harder times. Catherine was an ever present support to my grandmother Eileen in her winter years and an unwavering emotional support for my mam since they were children. She could brighten up any room with a few lines of a song (The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray!) and her powerful bright spirit. Kavanagh’s on a Wednesday night was a place you could warm your soul and restore your faith in humanity. We were truly blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be deeply missed xxxx
Heartfelt sympathies on the passing of our lovely kind hearted neighbour Kathleen. She will be sadly missed.
May she rest in peace

I was deeply saddened to hear of Catherine's passing. She was such a vibrant and warm person with an infectious zest for life! Catherine was so helpful to those in her life - her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Over the years she was a great support to the Daly and McGran clan, from babysitting the Daly kids to being a neighbourly support to Mary's mother Eileen and Lady the dog. My deepest condolences to her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May you find comfort in the many cherished memories you have of her.
