Billy, Gerard, Mary and Susan, we just heard the news today about Kay and we're so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful woman she was. We have such lovely memories of growing up alongside you all on Perrott Avenue and of Sunday mornings and Christmas Eve lunches in The Vin. Mum always loved meeting Kay after you moved to Douglas and we will always hold your mum in our hearts. May she rest in peace. Thinking of you all, Eimear, Irene, John and Donogh

Oh Mary, i just saw the notice today 5th March.
What a wonderful, sophisticated and giving lady. The photo is how I remember Kay. I will never forget the Mackesy kindness when my dad, Johnny, passed away suddenly in 1967. We were all wee ones. Your mum fed and watered us in your home for 4 days when you lived off Perrott Ave.
She is now somewhere over a rainbow and looking out for you all from above.
Please pass on my best to Billy, Gerard, Susan and all your close ones.
