What a life Charlie had! And what a spirit! We were so lucky to have spent time with him and we loved stopping to see him on our walks. We were pretty old when we fell in love, a widow and widower, and Charlie encouraged us. "I want a good day out," he said. He had that twinkle when he said it. "Love and respect make for a good marriage," he told us. We took that to heart. Our condolences to all of you-- friends, family and neighbors. We will really miss him. Love from Seattle.
