Heartfelt and sincere condolences to Clare and family on their loss of Chris.

Chris was a kind soul who hadn't a negative fibre in his body. We shared a passion for Cork league of Ireland teams since the halcyon days of the Cork Hibs, Celtic rivalry up to the current iteration of CCFC. Slightly behind his passion for Cork City was his love of West Ham Utd. One such example was his often used retort to anyone slagging off the hammers, was his quip "we are still the only club team to have won the world cup"

The other interest we shared was blues music. Chris had an encyclopedia font of knowledge on Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher and current day Joe Bonamassa.

Now, rest easy dear friend and let your spirit reign in the sky to a blues musical rhapsody of "I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air"

I'll always have the memories of meeting you and Clare on Saturday nights in Fordes local bar.
So sorry to hear about Chris passing. Please accept my deepest condolences
Mick Moriarty.
