Cian Mahony

I am honored to have known Cian for so long. A great friend and a gentleman that helped so many people. I have so many fond memories. I struggle everyday to get my head around his passing. My thoughts are with those who loved him, in particular Karen, Millie, George, Emma and Tony.

We are so sorry this morning to hear of Cian’s passing and send our deepest sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues at Burtons. Cian was a gentleman to deal with. As we haggled over what he was charging, he had a great sense of humour. He will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Cian's passing. I did a lot of work in Burtons when I was starting my business and often had to call on Cian's help and as busy as he was it was never an issue - an absolute gentleman through and through. So sorry for all of his family - may he Rest in Eternal Peace. God rest you Cian.

Condolences to Cian’s family. We are so sorry to hear he has lost his battle with cancer. We knew Cian from Burtons and I think he used to dread or maybe relish the challenge of seeing our old Range Rover coming in for its post NCT service. He worked magic on it.

Worked alongside Cian for years in Derek Burton’s. Fantastic mechanic and always very helpful. Fond memories out in the shed of the back of his house working on motor bikes to the tractor or 4x4’s. Always good crack.

We were very blessed to have known Cian for little over a year. He gave us such a tremendous welcome as his new neighbours, and was always on hand with advice despite going through his battle for his health.

Cian always went above and beyond if I ever needed help with anything and we always had a good laugh together.
