I always looked forward to Cyril coming down to my house to do a job. I knew there would be a good days craic ahead.He always had that smiley grin on his face.
He would build the blocks and i would tend to him.We would stop for the "tae" 3 times during the day, where the
chatting and laughs would continue.It would be a day full of stories and jokes, from different jobs and building sites he worked on over the years. But behind all the laughs, he was a master of his craft. He took great pride in his work and the end result would be testament to that.
A lesson here, of a life well lived with so much humour in it. He was very good to me, like he was to so many.
What a great man.
