Cyril and I sat on a 3 week + interview board in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown over 20 years ago. Working that closely with someone you get to know them. He was great to work with. A gentleman and an incisive interviewer. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Cyril. My parents Mick and Anne Leahy were life long friends initially through the Looney family and then with Cyril himself. Many a match was analyzed at our kitchen table in the farm house. He was passionate about sport and a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
