Daniel Stephen ''Steve'' Manning

Sincere Sympathy to Stephen brother and sister his nephews and nieces. His neighbours and friends in Kinsale.
Especially the OKeeffe family. Stephen spoke highly of his family and time living in the U. S.

Stephen was an excellent staff member at Kinsale Community Hospital. When I worked with him as Director of Nursing ,one of his greatest joys was when the new ride on Lawn mower arrive plus other garden equipment from Atkins in Cork. This made his work load more efficient. Stephen had a exceptional knowledge of his work role.
He had a wonderful work ethic. His work was exceptional, i never had to worry about a particularly old building as Stephen in his days work ensuring all maintenance checks were in order and up todate.

His respect for all staff , patients, visitors and anyone he met during the course of his work was excellent.
Above all you treated me with respect. Another time when Stephen purchased nice furniture for his own home from Caseys in Cork city , i was invited to his house to see the new furniture.

I was so sorry as I was unable to Attend the funeral mass and funeral Home.
Rest in eternal peace Stephen 🙏. A life well lived.

What a joy it was to work in KCH with Stephen he was always there to help out no matter what the cicumstance even though it most likely was not in his job description.
His priority was to care for everyone whether it be human, animal or plant everything mattered what an amazing gift to bring to such a caring environment such as KCH.
I will always remember our dilemma with partial fuse board failure on a Christmas eve many years ago.
How you carefully instructed myself and Nurse Guarde where to source and replace those necessary items and get everything up and running again.
Nowadays that would be a no, no but we can look back and say what a team we were.
Rest now dear Stephen in your well deserved heavenly place amongst those loved ones gone before you.

My connection to the Manning family is that on a visit to San F in 1974 as part of the Cork Football team I was fortunate enough to stay with the Manning family as a guest. I have fond memories of that great holiday & the warm welcome we received from the Manning family.

Sincere Sympathy to all Stephens relatives and friends. Stephen was a work colleague of mine in Kinsale Community Hospital. He kept the garden in prime condition growing all the plants from seed. He was also our maintenance man and our go to man to get assistance from
when we had no lift .I first got to know Stephen when he came back from abroad to look after his elderly parents who were both patients in KCH.He was so kind and caring to them .He was such a pleasant man and was always in good form. May he reap his eternal reward and be united with all his relatives who passed before him May Stephen rest in peace.
