So sad to hear of David's passing this week and to learn recently of his illness. I've been living in Belgium the last 10 years, and was unable to make it to the funeral.

I always remember David as someone who was a gentleman. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and always approached life with a grin. Many a DART trip back to Glenageary was spent with David coming home from school, and lifts from Pat which were always appreciated with bags full of books! So many school trips with him, retreats, trips abroad (Singapore and China I recall?). He clearly enjoyed life to the full, and it was evident he was so close to his family.

I'm so sorry for your loss, of such a good man like David, at such a young age. Sincere condolences to you all on behalf of all the Mc Keagney family and wishing you all the strength and love in these coming difficult months ahead.

I was in St. Michael's with David, my overarching memories of him are of a young man who was so friendly, kind and a pleasure to be around. He will be greatly missed and I know he left such a positive mark on all those who met him.

I'm so sorry I couldn't be at the funeral today as I live in the U.K. I will be watching online and will be thinking of you all today.

My deepest condolences to David's family and friends, so very sorry to hear of his passing. I had the pleasure of being in college with David for three years at DBS and he was such an optimistic, kind and considerate person. Whatever was going on, without fail he had something funny or kind to say, we had great times and I cherish those formative years so much.

Dave had a special skill of making people feel at home and inspired us all to be more considerate and caring. I'm so glad I had a chance to spend time with a person like David, so much love in that man and so very sad to hear of his passing.
