David gave sterling service to Na Gaeil GAA Club and to the Tralee District Board, both as Chairman and as an Officer. His dedication and commitment to the GAA and to his community will be long remembered.

Belated sincere condolences to all the McNamara family on the sad death of Dave. Also condolences to all his friends and colleagues in the GSRMA especially those in the North Kerry Branch. On a personal note I had the privilege of working with Dave in South Kerry in the 1990’s when he was Sergeant in Castlemaine. A loyal and dedicated colleague. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
