My first outing was the shop beside us a few weeks ago and my next stop will be Decks. Jamie i know you will do your Dad really proud! Why? Because you had the best trainer. Just heard the very sad news of the untimely pass of Dec. A gentleman and legend of a man will be solely missed. Always had a jokes, laughs and banter. Sincere condolences to Mags, Jamie and the family. May he RIP.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Deckie's untimely passing. My heartfelt condolences to Mari and to the family. Deckie was such a lovely man, always cheerful and he'd go out of his way to help. He was an absolute legend in Cobh, everybody knew and admired him. Cobh won't be the same without him.

So shocked and saddened to hear this news. I dealt and supplied Deckie over many years and always enjoyed his company. He was a pleasure to deal with. An absolute Gentleman in all senses of the word. RIP Dec.

It was with great sadness that we heard of Deckie's death. He had such a great personality, always a smile. I (Jim) went to school with him and we remained good buddies. While this will be a very hard time for the family we are sure ye will have many very happy memories of Deckie to see ye through these difficult times.
