Very saddened to hear of Declan’s death after a tough illness and my condolences to his family and close friends. I had the pleasure of working with Declan in my first psychiatry post in 1992. Brilliant clinician, resourceful, learned, engaging, and as others said, a talented musician. Despite all the pressures of working in a low resource specialty, he lit up the room and we laughed a lot. Will be thinking of him as we share stories and memories. Rest in Peace.

I’m sorry to hear of Declan’s passing. I have fond memories of calling to him when I worked at Janssen—full of interesting stories and always respectful .
