To Ruth, Sarah, Debbie and all the family, so pleased to have been able to follow Deirdre's funeral service on line. What a fitting tribute to a great lady. She would have been so proud of her grandchildren. I was greatly moved by Danny's words.
Have been friends with mum since high infants in Mount Merrion and over the years have accumulated hundreds of photos and so many happy memories of times spent in Kilmuckridge! She has been a wonderful and true friend over the past 80 years and will be greatly missed.

Ruth, Sarah and Debbie, im so sorry i can't be with you all today as you say goodbye to the legend, aunty Dee.
You didn't want to be here today of course but i know you'll give Dee the best send off possible. She will be sorely missed ... I don't think i knew anyone with as sharp a wit, and dry sense of humour. She was absolutely wonderful and whilst we'll all be missing her, she's now upstairs with her beloved Uncle Dick.
