So sorry to hear of your mums passing Lelia. Her ever smiling face whenever I saw her with your Grandmother in Busaras, for those dreaded bus journeys back to Wicklow, she was always beaming. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

So very sorry to hear of Deirdre's passing, I remember her fondly from my student nurse days in SMH , she was a true lady, kind and gentle with a twinkle in her eye , a permanent smile and a sense of divilment that endeared her to all. May her gentle soul rest in peace

Deirdre was a wonderful person and such a great nurse, I loved working with her when I was a student at SMH. I remember her very fondly, always smiling & cheery, such fun to be around.

I remember Deirdre when she worked as Staff Nurse in the Children’s Ward in St. Michael’s Hospital. I was Clinical Teacher to the student nurses in training during those years. All my memories of Deirdre are pleasant & happy ones. Each student who worked in the Children’s Ward under Deirdre’s caring & kind manner ABSOLUTELY loved her! Deirdre was an exceptional nurse with wonderful people skills. I am also thinking of Sharon who trained in SMH in the early 1980s & her sister.
I am so sorry to hear about Deirdre’s death. She remains smiling that BEAUTIFUL BEAMING smile in my memory. Rest in peace.
