Josephine. We were so sorry to hear of Gervais’ passing. He was a true gentleman. We had lovely conversations with him when we passed on our walks. Sympathies to your girls and all your extended family.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Gervase. I worked with him briefly in Park House Hotel 10 years ago. He was a gentleman and a very sweet soul - always had a big smile and hello! I will miss his yearly birthday wishes to me on FB, which he never missed.

My sincere condolences to Gervase's family and friends. He will no doubt be missed.

When we reminisce about those years, we always remark on his impeccable style and how he was always “done up like a stick of chewing gum”. Sincerest condolences on your loss.

I am so sad to hear this. Gervase was a great teacher and friend. Back in Newfoundland and Labrador Jennifer and I along with Gervase and Josephine enjoyed some great times, especially at the dog shows (and the odd beverage). I am so glad we were able to visit Gervase and Josephine in Ireland in recent years. Gervase was always a great host. Although we are miles apart, we will truly miss Gervase though he will always be in our hearts. Our condolences go out to Josephine, Yvonne, Norma and their families.❤️🙏

Very sorry to read of the passing of Gervase..An absolute Gentleman when I would meet him on an almost daily basis back in the day as I dropped in to Park House Hotel for lunch.Gervaise manned the Reception desk with absolute authority,always impeccably dressed and such a positive presence.I can only imagine how much the guests enjoyed their interactions with him.

I’m so sorry to hear about Mr Flynn’s passing. He was a wonderful man and teacher. He instilled the love of the French language in others. He made learning fun and he was passionate about the language. He was an inspiration and role model to me. I will never forget the EF trip to Nice that he chaperoned. We all had wonderful adventures.

Mrs. Flynn, Yvonne, Norma & families, we were stocked & saddened to hear the news today from Mr. Fleming. My heart goes out to you. I always cherrished his yearly birthday well wishes in recent years. He was a fantastic teacher, supportive, and at times even, showed his humour! He looked so formal at the front of the classroom & could quickly captivate his students with his knowledge & passion for the subject matter. Jumping, almost, from one end of the chalkboard to the other. I also have vivid memories of watching him quickly & commandedly walk home from school, much later than I, with his large "bookbag" of his "correcting" & other school work that would undoubtedly be ready the following day. Such dedication to his profession & students. Our sincere sympathy to all those who loved & admired Mr. Flynn. Cherished memories alway keep the departed close to our hearts.
