Denis was a gentleman in every sense of the word and someone whom I looked forward to talking with and who had the most wonderful insights on so many things. On behalf of the Board and Staff we are all very sorry to hear about Denis’ passing. He was a wonderful, kind, generous of spirit man. Denis was an integral part of many of so many Amateur Drama Productions that took place in the Theatre. He will be missed in Listowel. Condolences to John and Rachel and extended Family.

I first met Denis when he was training me to be a wedding celebrant, and it was wonderful to learn from him and see the joy he brought to all of the occasions he celebrated. He had a lovely manner and a great humour. My sincere condolences to his family and friends on this sad loss

It's with so much sadness that I send my deepest sympathy to Rachel, John & all your family on the passing of my friend Denis RIP , I shared the stage & drama group with him for many years , he was an outstanding actor & good fun on and off the stage , it's many a house visit I had from him & he brought his own homemade apple pie , we drank tea & of course talked about drama his was wonderful company, his now with Merce & I'll keep him in my prayers, may he rest in peace 🙏
