Dear Sheila,
Our condolences to you, and your family, on the passing of Denis.
Denis and I met at various stages of our lives.
As a Professor of Economics at UCC, he had an influence on my career choice in 1970. Many years later we had interaction through our involvement with the UCC Alumni. He joined you Sheila, after the UCC Golf Society outings, sharing enjoyable dinners evenings.
I remember Denis as a friendly, supportive person, with an understated disposition.
May his spirit be at rest.

Dear Sheila, Shivaun & family - Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved Denis. We know how much he meant to all of you. We had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and remember his lovely poise and graciousness.
We distinctly remember the first time we met when he and Sheila were in New York several years ago and came over for dinner. We had a great evening and lovely time.
