Dublin hurling will be poorer for the loss of Denis. Win, lose or draw, we always enjoyed a friendly chat and a bit of a joke with Denis whenever we played Thomas Davis. Often an umpire and always a fixture at games, he was a a true gentltman and a character of Dublin GAA. It won't be the same without him.

May i express my deepest sympathies to all the extended O'Donovan family. Corky was a gentleman who gave of himself endlessly to his family and all at Thomas Davis hurling. He gave us lifts, he managed our junior hurling team, he helped out around kitipper tirelessly. He was a character, he was loved by all and always meant good intentions even if that meant putting up a white flag for a ball three feet wide. May he rest in peace 🙏.
