Such sad news on the passing of Denise. I remember her so well from childhood as I knew all the Lane Family who were cousins through marriage. I am very sorry to learn of Denise's passing. Apart from my connection with my former CIT colleague Mícheál, Denise was my first violin teacher on the Suzuki scheme in 1974. She, Renée and Bernard Curtis had just brought the scheme to Cork. And from there, a door opened for me which has brought so much fulfilment and joy over many years, and still continues to do so.
