I’ll always remember Derek as the little boy next door, playing in the back garden of Elm Mount with Penny. It was a long time ago, but those childhood memories last a lifetime.

I am shocked and heartbroken for you all on the loss of your son, brother, dad and uncle. I have great memories of Derek from all the lovely get togethers at Maxine and Gavin's over the years, very specially both of us standing as godparents to Lachlan.
