I am so so sad to hear of Dermot’s passing. I have such happy memories of all the wonderful times with Joan and all the Cronin family, Dermot was such a good friend to me for so many years.

I extend my sincere condolences to all the family and to Dermot’s Sk’al friends.

What a pleasure it was to have met and spent time with Dermot over the years. Dermot was a pure gentleman whomI have known for 57years when I worked for himself and Joan in the early years. Dermot now leaves a legacy that will live on in his Family. It was an absolute pleasure to have met Pop lots of times while I worked with Cronins Coaches for 3 years. He always had a smile on his face. So welcoming. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. May Pop rest in peace🌹 xxx

I would hope that Dermot is now reunited with Mrs Cronin (Joan), together recognised as one of the strongest and most successful, formidable partnership teams within the many successful businesses they started and ran.
Dermot and I exchanged many passionate different thoughts and views. He always had his own unique ways of explaining things, often, to me unconventional, highly personal direction. Dermot ran a tight ship, a very successful family business everything based on his own hard work and experience. Dermot employed many a young lad, that he would send off with a top-of-the-range Van Hool coach +Shell/DKV card and returned as experienced Hard Working Men. Rest in Peace Dermot, you leave a lasting legacy you most definitely will not be forgotten.
