This is such a terrible loss of your dad - a real Dub ( myself a secret one )
Words are little comfort , but if your dad resembled you in character he is fulfilling his destiny with the Lord .
There is no replacement for your dad, and he now enters the elevated regions of the saints.

I was so very sad to hear of Des's passing. He was such a lovely man and a great friend to my late husband Padraic. They worked together for quite a while and also played golf in Newlands. Even after Padraic's death I got a card every Christmas from Des and Kay asking how I was. I got no card last Christmas and hoped that everything was ok. May Des rest in peace. I'm having Mass said for him in my native county Donegal. Sincere condolences to all the Family and his many friends.
