For many years, he did wonderful work for us here, at the Knockainey Group Water Scheme - we will always appreciate all that he did for us and remember his lovely ways. I hope that great memories of times past will help you all through these difficult times.

Sympathies to Peg, Niamh, Seán and Sarah on the very sad passing of Donie. He was a wonderful man.

Anytime I met Donie I was greeted warmly with a mischievous glint in his eye and a smile. He was a central part in many of the fondest memories I had playing football with Lyre and was an excellent coach and mentor. When Donie spoke, we as players listened. He naturally commanded respect.

I hope ye can find comfort in the many happy memories ye have of Donie and of Donie having lived life to the fullest.
