Dr Aengus Murray

Our deepest sympathy to Aengus’ nearest and dearest. Very fond memories of Aengus during Murray family gatherings as youngsters in Dublin over summer. Grateful for our time together with Aengus in Perth Australia with the Brosnan family. May he rest in peace and love.

I had the pleasure of working with Aengus over the past couple of years on a conference committee. He was always a gentle, kind, and highly responsible colleague. Everyone on the committee truly enjoyed working with him. It is very sad to lose such a great friend and colleague.

I’m so sorry to hear of Aengus’s death. I was in the same year as him doing engineering in UCD finishing in 1980. Later we used to meet up in Ennis where our paths crossed again. Aengus outside of being so technically able was so unassuming, friendly, and helpful to everyone. We lost touch after he joined Analog Devices. My condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden and tragic death of Aengus. We remember him as kind, friendly and a perfect gentleman when we were neighbours in Clontarf. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

My sincere condolences to the Murray family, Aengus wife, son and extended family, may he rest in peace. Aengus was a member of the Class of 1976 at St Paul’s Raheny, a friend, a genius, a shy man and a kind soul. Taken too early, but won’t be forgotten. RIP Aengus.

It was with deep sadness that I learned of the death of Aengus, my cousin. I send sincere condolences to Simin, his wife, Brian his son, his parents-in-law, Marian, Anne, Conor, Deirdre, Brian, and Fiona, his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws nephews and nieces including all who mourn him. I enjoyed many summers with Aengus and our families in Clontarf and Killybegs as children. I have sweet memories and mourn his passing. He was a wonderful and gentle man. The world has lost a precious soul. Rest in peace Aengus 🙏
