Sincerest sympathies to Dr. de Souza's wife Nora, his sons Bernard, Brian and Christopher, his daughter-in-laws and his grand children on the passing of a brillaint doctor and GP. We were always looked so well by Dr. de Souza, no matter what time it was, day or night. Dr. Oscar was always so calm and re-assuring to all, both patients and parents, when we visiting the surgery in Tirellan Heights. His time had come, his job was done, and we're sure he's looking down on all his family, friends and many patients, and he's making sure we're all staying fit and healthy. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

I have so man fond happy memories of Oscar over the years particularly as a child growing up when Nora babysat us for many years. Thankfully we kept in contact over the years.

Oscar ‘Dad’ will always be fondly remembered for his amazing Indian dishes which I always looked forward to after school.

I got to know Dr de Souza when I attended his surgery back in 1981 always a lovely gentleman to talk to and always gave good advise, he often gave a tip for a winner on the horses. A smart card player and a lovely singer. He will be missed so much by everyone in Tirellan and in the community. We are all the better for having known Oscar.
