Dear Tarik, Shauna, and Rohana, please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Mejo Mama (Uncle), your beloved father. While we were still mourning for Mejo Mami (Anne), another profound loss has struck your family. Within such a short span of time, you have endured the heartbreak of losing both parents.

I was deeply shocked by Mejo Mama’s sudden passing. From my childhood, I admired him for his academic brilliance, love for sports, and the warmth and dignity with which he carried himself. I will always treasure the fond memories I have of him.

Together with Anne, his true partner, he raised three children and created a home filled with love and care. His family was the center of his world. His journey—from Bangladesh to Europe, from extraordinary student to respected teacher—was inspiring, but it was his kindness, openness, and genuine interest in people that truly defined him.

No words can ease this loss, but I hope you may find some comfort in knowing how widely he was respected and loved. May Allah rest Mejo Mama in eternal peace and grant him Jannah. I hope you will carry forward his legacy and continue to strengthen the bond among us.

I am sending you strength, warmth, and my heartfelt prayers during this difficult time.

I am consoled that dad is now reunited with your beloved mom Anne.They will guide you and will always watch over you.
