To Doirin, Taryn and Bebhinn - so sad to hear about Ed. Under all the gruff guff he was so very kind to Andy and me when we first went to Australia, and Doirin, you and he were a lifeline for Helen both in Oz and when she came back to Ireland. Will never forget Ed's true decency. A life well lived and a man who will be missed.

Hi Taryn & Bebhinn. Ed & I met when working together in Sydney. He was so worldly! Our friendship then survived almost 50 years and 17,000km's. Even though his more recent attempts to conceal the true state of his health were rather transparent, news of his death has still shocked us both. We will retain lifelong bragging rights about having known him and how we enjoyed his friendship. Condolences to you all. Russell & Tracey Murphy.
