Eddie was a work colleague who became my best friend and golfing partner
for over 35 years. I will truly miss his friendship, kindness, and our regular three
hour coffee morning chats, when we always had plenty to talk about.
Eddie was well liked by all his golfing friends and they will have their own happy
memories of playing golf with him, just as much as I have mine.
I feel privileged to have shared all those years knowing Eddie and I will miss him dearly.

So very sad to hear of Eddie’s passing. A really great guy, sincere and truly humble. Great memories and much laughter. Loved his sport and very knowledgeable on most and 2 in particular. Golf and Arsenal. I shared neither passion being a Spurs supporter for my sins, but we both followed horse racing and several trips are well remembered although rarely profitable.Vicki and I are always here for you Sally and you know you and all your family are in our thoughts. Perhaps the lasting memory of Eddie is despite all his suffering he never complained. Much love.

How do I begin to pay tribute to this man, no words that i have will ever describe the friendship we shared for over 25 years.
I will miss you so much Eddie, our golfing trips were always interesting to say the least.
I saw you not only as a dear friend but a mentor in my life for which i thank you.
Always there with your steading hand and words of advice and your calming influence, which has rubbed off on me in many ways.
Rest Easy till we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Eddie.
I have so many great memories of Eddie both at our house and also at yours on Caledonian Road, most of these were based around cards and alcohol xx
Eddie was a very sociable man who became one of our family and I remember feeling like he was like an uncle to me.
I am so sorry I never got to see Eddie before his passing as it would have been great to reminisce on some of the good old days, we wouldn’t have had time to get through all the good old days xx
I will always remember Eddie for his humour, his caring nature and obviously his beard, which he loved rubbing against mine and Lisa’s faces xx
I am thinking of you all at this difficult time and I will pop down to see you in the hear future.

Eddie was a wonderful, gentle and kind man with a great sense of humour and our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy go out to Sally and his family.
