We are very sorry to have only heard of Dodie's passing. She had a beautiful kind & caring soul. I have very fond memories of happy times in your home in cloondara. Dodie & Declan created a very happy home with a welcome for all. In later years I always loved meeting Dodie while she was mobile & out. She was sharp as a tool & typically had a great concern, in knowing others were doing well. Always offering to help, often, by offering medical advice/ assistance from her offspring, which was typical of her kindness. Dodie was an open book full of goodness. It was a privilege to have known her . A huge void in your lives without her . Sincere sympathy to all of you Tim Mary Margaret & Rossa

Belated condolences from the McGuinness family to the Horgan and Comer families . My late father Dr.owen McGuinness (rip1989) (& his bothers(TJ, Simon & Olly & sisters Mairead,Mary & Caitlin,,all now deceased) originally all from Roscommon town ) was her 1st cousin as his mother was Kate Comer sister of Jack., with old Simon Comer as my great grandfather. My father spoke fondly of the few times he went down to Killarney many years ago and met his cousins there. My brother Conor has met Mary in more recent times and sends his condolences too.
