I was soo saddened to hear of Eileen’s passing. My sympathies go to you Noel and Dianne. Eileen was a very special lady. I remember as a child calling in to her with my own parents and she had great chats and of course a cuppa. In later years my husband and I still call when visiting Kilcrohane and Eileen always had a smile and a welcome.

My heartfelt sympathy to you both, and to extended families, on the sad passing of your beloved Eileen. 🌹

When I think of Eileen, I remember her as always having a smile on her face, was good humoured and had a welcome for everyone.
In particular, I will always treasure my teenager years, when Di & I would go for Sunday cycles, with the end reward being to return to Noel & Eileen's for 'supper time' where Eileen would always have dished up a scrumptious meal. What a treat!

Eileen was a lovely lady, wonderful wife to Noel, mother and best friend to Danny & Dianne. I know her loss will be very painful but I hope that the wonderful memories you have will give you strength during this difficult time. It was such a pleasure to have known Eileen.

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother, wife, best friend and partner in crime Eileen, may her beautiful soul rest in peace.

We have so many wonderful memories of our times spent with Eileen, from tasting Soda Bread, White Pudding and Eileen’s stuffing for the first time, to her cooking chips across the yard in all weathers. The perfect steaks she cooked for Barry or as Eileen renamed him … Brian, which made us roar with laughter and has always stuck!!

Swearing Emily to secrecy as she slipped her some Euros for sweets without me ever knowing, even though the first priority on our visits was showing Em where the treat drawer was.

She provided the warmest of welcomes and these were only ever surpassed by her even bigger warm heart.

We are absolutely honoured to have called Eileen our friend and we will miss her deeply. xxx
