I was saddened to learn of Eithne's passing and I offer my sincere condolences to her family and friends. I worked in the Dundalk telephone exchange during Eithne's tenure as one of the chief supervisors. As my boss, I found her to be kind ,fair and approachable.sadly,I am unable to attend the removal today due to a prior appointment. Rest in Peace lovely lady🙏🙏

Eithne was the first person I spoke to when I arrived into the telephone exchange on a bleak Tuesday morning in Nov 1975. 3 young girls transferred from Westport. She predicted that I would stay in Dundalk and she was right. Eithne was a glamorous, gentle lady. Rest in eternal peace Eithne.
