It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Elizabeth. My memory goes back to so many things about Elizabeth: her sense of humour, her love of clothes and her wonderful dress sense, her garden that she spent so much time in, her beautiful home with its Eileen Grey furniture. I could go on. Over 30 yrs ago Liz suggested to a group of us in the art gallery that we start a book club to get away from the ‘ologys and ‘osophys and enjoy fiction. So a book club was formed and to this day members enjoy our monthly get together. Thank you Elizabeth and may your dear spirit dance with the angels.

On behalf of all the Taaffe family home and abroad, who remember Elizabeth with great fondness. Our mum Nell and Elizabeth were great pals. Deepest sympathy to all Elizabeth’s family.
