I will miss my beautiful niece more than I can ever say. Lovely, funny, kind and sparky Ella. I am heartbroken for my brother, Ralph, my sister-in-law, Jo-Ann, and for Leo and Isabel.

It was a long time since I had spoken to Ella, and I had always hoped that one day our paths would cross again. She was so important to me at such a huge part of my teenage years and I will forever be grateful to her for the fun, laughs and love we shared. I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately we know the immense pain you are feeling, we lost our precious child,our son Evan 4 weeks ago after a tragic accident also in the US. We are beyond devastated as you are. Our brilliant, funny, hard working and loving boy taken way too soon just like your Ella was. Nothing anybody says can help ease the pain and we will always ask 'why?', but it's a question that can't be answered. Like Ella, Evan was having the time of his life in the US and we take comfort knowing how happy he was. We pray to him every day to give us the strength to carry on and we know for certain that he is, Ella will do that for you too! ❤️ We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Xx

Dear Jo, I was so so very sorry to hear about beautiful Ella. It's amazing to me that although we have never met, I have heard so much about you over the years from Ness that I feel we have a strong connection and are probably very similar in so many ways, with children the same ages etc etc. News like this almost seems too hard to bear. I am wishing you all the strength in the world to get through this and be able to find peace. I hope that with Ralph, Isabel and Leo and all of your wider families, you will be able to celebrate Ella's beautiful life and remember all the great times you had with her. She looks like such a beautiful young lady in this photograph and she was obviously very much loved. I am thinking of you all and hope we get to meet some day.
