My dear wife , Minna (RIP), who passed away in September of last year, always spoke admiringly of Eileen's forcefulness and energy and how she was never deterred by obstacles or difficulties.
Well, they have now both travelled onwards, ar sligh na firinne, to their eternal reward- May they Rest in Peace.

My condolences to my Gribben cousins on the loss of your lovely mom.Its years since we met but Eileen was often a visitor to our house/pub to meet my mom, Catherine .Eileen was her bridesmaid! Many a trip we made out to Kilcara house .I also recall her taking me along to Ballybunion with all of you and we sang all the way, back in the late 60's.I will be in touch, as I think the two moms would like that.Im so glad you had Eileen for so long. She would be the last of that generation.

We were so fortunate to have Eileen in our lives in Dublin as she looked after our children, before we relocated to Tralee. Unfortunately we couldn’t bring Eileen with us but we had the pleasure of her visiting us in our Tralee home some time later.
She was some woman,always so positive and full of energy.
