May I add my sympathy to the family, friends and international confreres of Gerry who died in the US and whose memorial we are about to celebrate at home in Dublin 7. In the late 70’s I joined the Sacred Heart Parish in Kamuning Metro Manila where Gerry was already resident. He was my introduction to life in the Philippines, a great mentor and in many ways my salvation. What a thoroughly decent gentle and kind man. We even spent a year together at Divine Word University in Tacloban, where he became very popular with students and faculty. I haven’t seen Gerry for over 40years but have always thanked God to have known him and to have learnt much from his life and service to all. Gerry, have a wonderful onwards journey. JB.
Deepest sympathy to Jimmy, Brian Peter and all the Family on the passing of Fr. Gerard your dear brother, may he get his rewards in heaven for all his religious hard work. Rest in peace Fr.Gerard 🙏🙏
