FR. JOHN COTTER

When he was first ordained Father Jack spent several years in the Diocese of Savannah GA USA. He was greatly loved and still remembered by the families he served. He was gracious and unassuming. On occasion I would visit with him on
my visits to Ireland. May he Rest In Peace. AMEN

My condolences on the death of Fr.John. I last met him at our Golden Jubilee in Maynooth in June 2013. May he rest in peace. Unfortunately we also have the funeral of one of our own priests here in Dublin on Monday, Fr.Thomas Colreavy, another classmate of John and myself.
We will remember John at the Mass for Tom on Monday.

Our heartfelt sympathies on John's passing. John was the founder of the Housing Co-op in CMAC, which built the houses in Castle Close Mahon in 1981/82, in which we still live. John officiated at our wedding in 1981, for which he refreshed his Gaeilge. He brought us consolation and hope when we needed it so often . We will toast him with a glass of good wine tonight.
