Our deepest sympathy to Fr Kevin's family on his sad passing. May he rest in eternal peace.
We were deeply saddened to hear of Fr. Kevin's death. He always called to see us on his frequent visits to his Clontuskert cousins. In the last year or so when the visits became less frequent Ailish kept us informed of "his comings and goings". Our thoughts and prayers are now with him on his journey to unite with his parents Peter and Ethna. No doubt they"ll be joined by Ethna Kelly, Maurice, Kitty and Lily and his many wonderful friends. To all the Cummins and Kelly families at home and abroad we offer our sincerest sympathies
Sincere Sympathy on the passing of Fr Kevin, same class in Garbally, great memories, rip Kevin.
Will greatly miss your visits home and our annual visits to you in St. Oswald's. You were a wonderful host, told such fabulous stories, a much loved, respected and admired member of the family. You held your vocation in the highest regard and remained true and loyal to your calling. Kevin may your gentle soul fly high with the angels, reunited with your beloved mother and father and eternally Rest in Peace. Sharon xxx

My deepest sympathy to Kevin’s family and to all who knew and loved Kevin. Kevin came to Ramsgrange, Co. Wexford on a regular basis and we always looked forward to his visits. Kevin, you were a great man. May you now rest in the loving embrace of your God.
We were sorry to hear of the death of Fr Kevin Cummins formerly of Dunlo Hill. I remember my late parents preparing to attend Fr Kevin's ordination in St Patrick's College, Carlow some 60 years ago. He gave selflessly to the priesthood in England but was a regular visitor to his home town even after his parent's deaths. He stayed with his maternal relatives in Clontuskert. It is only fitting that his remains are being returned to rest alongside his late parents. The bed of heaven to you Fr Kevin agus go dtuga Dia solás dod' ghaolta. Suaimhneas síoraí ar d'anam dílis.
To Fr. Kevin's family & friends,

So sorry to learn of the untimely passing of Fr. Kevin.
He was a very regular visitor to our house on the many visits to his home in Ballinasloe as was Peter and Ethna.
We like to think the reason was to visit our parents Robbie and Mary, of coarse it was purely coincidental that our mother made very good brown bread and Kevin would return to England well fortified for the months ahead.
Kevin was very good company, brown bread is still on the go.
The Finns in Ballinasloe.

I am saddened to hear of Fr. Kevin's death. When I was growing up in Ballinasloe he was one of the many Ballinasloe natives who ministered as priests throughout the world and used to return home on holidays. I remember serving Mass for him. He had a great sense of humour. On one occasion he has hurt his foot and was walking with a stick and he told us he had been cleaning the spire of the church and he fell from the top of the spire and sprained his ankle!!
Fr. Kevin was proud of his Ballinasloe roots and while his late father, Peter was alive, Fr. Kevin was a very regular visitor home.
May Fr. Kevin be rewarded for his priestly ministry that he may inherit the place prepared for him in the Father's House.

Rest in peace Kevin. Your work in the vineyard is complete.
