Ah so sad to hear of Mark's sudden and early passing. Loved sharing time and graduating with you in All Hallows - good laughs along with deep discussions. Loved your sense of humour Mark and your gentle kindness. Lovely though sad to meet you're lovely Mam And Dad and family at the alumni Mass in All Hallows...and your lovely sweet pea flowers that your sister kindly gave me from the altar. I attended both London and Dublin Masses online - loved hearing your brother speak about you :) Glad John was there to say your funeral mass.

My deepest condolences to Mark’s Mother and Father, sisters and brothers and all who loved him. I knew Mark from AHC. He was such a nice, kind, positive person and although I hadn’t met him since then I was so very sad to hear the news of his death.

So shocked to hear Fr Mark has passed away. We lived opposite Osterley church for 4 years. Our children did alter service for Fr Mark. He was such a good influence on them and they loved the youth club that he organised. Our thoughts go out to Fr Marks family and to all the parishioners in Osterley.

Mark was a very good friend of our late brother Gerard ( Gerry) who also sadly passed away suddenly in Oct 2018.
Mark ,& Gerard were Uni friends in Bolton Street and also in London for many years.Ger spoke highly of Mark and we as a family were touched by the lovely message he sent us after Ger passed.

I was so very sorry to hear about Mark. We had some great laughs in All Hallows and he was great company, but he was also kind, sincere and very generous with his time and attention. I hadn’t seen him in years but I’ll still miss him.

I was saddened and to be honest shocked at Fr Mark's death. He was always ao healthy and kept himself fit. He was v kind and compassionate to me when I met him in london shortly after my own wife's death. He was v understanding and wise. He lived a good life and a sacred monistry and will be rewarded by his heavenly Father in paradise. Rest in peace, mark. Sincere sympathies to Eileen, john and family. Sincere condolences to the Leenane family on Mark's untimely death. Mark was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him, deeply spiritual and committed to his priesthood. He will be greatly missed.

Fr Mark christened our daughter at St Gabriel's,Upper Holloway and has been a great friend to all in our family over a quarter century in London and in Dublin. The late summer evenings, most years, when Fr Mark dropped into our Dublin home for supper and conversation were ones we looked forward to immensely and we can hardly believe that he will not turn up, as usual, next month. A deeply spiritual man, the combination of virtues exemplified by Fr Mark was rare and we will miss him. Heartfelt condolences to all in Fr Mark's family and friendship circle whom he cherished so much.
