We were so sorry to learn that dear Fr. Ray had died. Although it was expected, it was a shock nevertheless . May he rest in peace. He was such a good friend and a fantastic parish priest; the children all adored him. We will never forget our "parish walks" in the Brecon Beacons! Fr Ray was a cousin, kind friend and fellow cruiser. We loved him dearly and will miss his happy face from this earth. We give thanks for the memory of him and that his soul will now rejoice in the presence of The Lord.

Fr Ray, You were my friend for over 40 years, you laughed with me, argued with me, counselled me, made me run when I wanted to walk and talked to me constantly, even up to four days before you passed away. I will miss you. May you rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Fr. Ray's passing. So many lovely memories of masses in Dublin road with granny and Pop, and more recently in Derrydonnel. He always managed to rope me in to say the readings!
As a child I loved his puppets, but not the snuff so much.
I remember going to Silver strand going swimming. Fr Ray would bring us out really deep and let us swim back to shore.

Many years passed by between seeing him but it never mattered because it seemed like we saw each other on a regular basis he was always so pleasant and kind.

Very sorry to hear about Fr. Ray. We will always have very fond memories of his visits to Derrymore and all the excitement when he would let the children play with his wonderful collection of puppets. His life was in Wales but his heart was in the West of Ireland especially visiting his large circle of friends.we loved and looked forward to his cheery visits. A great man and valued family friend. I served mass for Fr Ray at St Cuthbert's Church Cardiff and used to love walking his dog Dancer. Many, many thanks for all the comfort and support you gave me and my family.
