Condolences to Gareth's family and the world is a worse place without you. A true gentleman and sound soul. Always a smile on the face and a bit of time for a chat and a bit of banter. I didn't realise how sick you where when you told me and downplayed it. You where in my thoughts a lot when you where fighting it. RIP brother.

Garrett always had a smile every time I went to him with my car and he hepled out when he didn't have to. I am honourered to have known him. My deepest condolences to all the Carey family you will always be in my thoughts

Our deepest condolences are with Kelly & the Children We loved Gar, I grew up with him Chris got his cars fixed & vans. Beautiful Guy, although We couldn't make the funeral We have not stopped thinking about Gar, very sad loss lovely guy heart of gold, we've lit a candle of light since We heard the news ❤️ love you always Beautiful person x

Garrett, I am so sorry I never got to say goodbye. I didn't realise it was your time to be taken from this earth. I have great memories of the laugh we had in the 'Facos' days, in Tymon Park or the lanes after school when I visited my friend Louise on St Columbas Road. I haven't seen you in years but I remember the slagging I got for moving 'down the country' at the time. I'm sorry I never met your beautiful family who I have no doubt you will be looking down on and guiding them through their life and getting them through this difficult time. Shine bright Gar, and i hope you got the best bed in heaven x

Garrett it feels so strange to be doing this for someone that was so full of life. You are the main part of the best memories we made in our few summers in Wexford. Always laughter when you were around. We are all heartbroken for kelley and the kids and family xx rip garret

It was an absolute honour to get to know you proper over the last 9 months Garrett, an absolute legend who never complained and always sat in the chair with the biggest smile on your face. Even on your darkest days you’d always check in and text to see how my mams doing. One of a kind and I will always be forever grateful to have been able to become your friend. Rest in peace.
