My sincere condolences to all of Gerry's family and friends. Gerry was a former colleague and I'll never forget his kindness to me, especially during the winter of 2009/10. I doubt he ever shared the story of how he, a Good Samaritan, spotted me stranded in the snow and drove miles out of his way to drop me safely to my door.

Gerry was a Great brother in law and will be very much missed by all
who knew him. He had a great sense of humour and lots of stories to tell.
He loved to sing at the parties. We enjoyed his trips to Vancouver.

I was truly blessed to speak to him by mobile the day before his death to tell him what he meant to me. I thank God for having had Gerard in my life.

To the Chalk Family My happy memories hurling at the cross

I worked with Gerry in the Fas Training Centre in Jervis St many years ago. A very nice gentle type of chap. I was saddened to hear of his passing today.
