Just heard the sad news of Gerry’s passing. I first met Gerry when he was training the Killucan GAA under 12 football team around 1972 or 73. Although I was not a good footballer, I remember he was kind and encouraging. He was always a true gentleman and a genuine person. Deepest condolences to Nuala and family and extended family. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. He had a gift for storytelling and could hold a room with his words, especially when it came to his family.
