Helen McGauran

I was deeply saddened to hear of Helen’s passing. My heartfelt sympathy to her beloved husband John, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild at this very difficult time.

I will always be eternally grateful for the kindness, welcome and care I received during the fifteen years I lived in their home. Helen always had a kind word and a warm smile for me each day, and that generosity of spirit is something I will never forget.

Helen was a woman of great spirit and warmth, and I will always be grateful for the welcome and friendship she gave so freely.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. May Helen rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to John, Kathryn, Carmel, Liz, Terry and Paul on the loss of your most precious mother Helen. Helen was the kindest, loving person I was so lucky to have in my life. She was my mother's true friend, who opened the door of her loving home to our family at a great time of need. Such kindness is rarely seen and was given with a heart full of laughter and fun. Unfortunately, due to illness I cannot make Mass in St Columba's to be with the family, but you all are forever in my prayers and I think of you all at this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Paul, Gillian, Seán, and Ada, as well as John and the entire McGauran family. Helen was the most welcoming person. Everything about her, from her demeanor to her voice, her spontaneous laugh, her little habits – sunbathing in the corner of the yard while reading the paper among her flowers and other plants–, everything about her made her a true character, someone you never forget. Goodbye dear Helen, may you rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to the McGuaran family on the passing of your beloved wife and Mam, Helen. I have such fond memories of Helen from growing up; she was truly a lovely woman. My heart is broken for Kerrylee she absolutely adored her nanny, and the two of them had so much fun together. Please know that you and Jake have gained a beautiful guardian angel who will always watch over you. Thinking of you all at this very sad and difficult time.
